If I were a liberal I'd be very, very worried about my immediate and long term political future. Unless they can come up with something better than - "we hate Trump" - they'll be lost to the dustbin of history.

Ideally for the country, the current democratic party will implode upon itself. The radicals have taken over and the party is so desperate to stop Trump that they will destroy themselves in the process.

Long-term, there needs to be a more moderate party to oppose the Republicans. American voters benefit when there are more smart parties putting forward smart ideas. And if there's a good party opposing the Republicans, that will push them to put forward better ideas for voters.
