With five QBs on the Florida spring roster the staff, particularly Billy Napier, has plenty of evaluative work to do. One young guy worth watching is Jalen Kitna. The 6-4, 210 lbs. redshirt freshman fits the profile of a strong-armed pro style QB. Jalen chose Florida to be coached by Brian Robinson and Dan Mullen. However, as a coach and ex-NFL veteran QB’s son Jalen may own some advantages in picking up Billy Napier’s offense quickly as well as learning to read defenses. Jalen’s been likened to Kyle Trask, though with far more mobility. Keep in mind, too, that Kitna graduated from high school a year ahead of his class so is still on his way up in his physical development with a little more room to grow his game.
