Whole food vegan diets do wonders for people with bad bio markers. Again, why some argue this very obvious fact is comical and extremely revealing.
 
There are other ways to improve health of course, but nothing will be as dramatic as a Whole Foods plant based diet. Many of you, being liberals, likely pop a number of different pills every day.
 
And what are the trade-offs?

Trade offs with what? Eating a Whole Foods plant based diet? It’s harder and you do need to sacrifice a few indulgences. It’s not for everyone, but moving incrementally in that direction will improve your health. Do you own study eat a certain way for two weeks, spend 20 bucks and get a lipid panel done.

Vegans often have to consume supplements, most often iron.

They also don't get nearly as much protein.

Additionally, gut flora needs a mix of vegetables and meats to stay diverse and healthy, and too much fiber is actually bad for you.

Moderation, in all things, is the best path in life.

You’re arguing instead of listening that’s a mistake. Jim food vegans with piercings and purple hair are not healthy people anymore than fat bbq loving idiots. Whole food vegans, on the other hand, are the healthiest. Try it for two weeks or don’t. You can choose to educate yourself or get triggered by things that are new to you. Your choices

Nothing I do is circular or trolling I see a yuuuge void in understanding very basic concepts very basic.

Going to a vegan diet is very beneficial for heart health. Hard to do, but there is a reason why cardiovascular disease has jumped exponentially over the past century.

whole food vegan, junk food vegan is awful too...And yes, its not easy. but adding more elements into a standard western diet is a good move and not difficult.

For example, one of my favorite dishes is a roasted beet salad with argula. Paired with almost any wine is a wonderful appetizer. I eat avocados, bananas, apples, blueberries, but man throw down a NY Strip and I lose my mind, not gonna lie, G
