So I was on Twitter and saw BREAKING NEWS, Trump leaves Walter Reed for WH. I saw it was a few mins earlier so I decided to turn on OAN and see if they were covering his arrival.
Unfortunately they were not. They were showing a CA debate between Adam Schitt and the guy running against him. Kudos to them for showing actual news as I doubt any other network was showing that, but it's not what I wanted to see.
So I switch to Fox. I haven't watched Fox in weeks but good grief it was like watching CNN. They showed Marine One arrive at the WH, all lamenting that Trump is SO FAR BEHIND in the race that they might as well call it now. But Trump has a last miracle chance to get back in it if he comes out says hoax flu is a killer, admits he was dead wrong, etc etc. Never Trumper Chris Stierwalt is beside himself as he details how Trump is done.
Then Trump emerges on the balcony, Bret Baier says "Let's listen in!"
Then, I could hear whispering that I can only assume was coming from the 'all-star panel'.
"Does he have the mask????"
"HE'S NOT WEARING THE MASK!!!!!!!"
"Wait, does he HAVE a mask????
"Was he wearing it when he got out and then he took it off?????"
All this done in excited whispers. They sounded like idiots. Like gossipy teenage girls in high school.
Sad! Fox has now become the network I only watch for breaking news IF OAN isn't covering it.
