Predict UF 2018 Regular Season Win-Loss Record

I’m not placing much importance on our blow out win against an FCS team. We looked very good but I’ve been down that road before basing my expectations for the season based on 1 great game against a high school team and the go into the crapper the rest of the season.

Looking closely at each of the games on our schedule, I see a few easy wins, a few toss up games with +/- 3 points spread, and a few games where we will be a fairly significant underdog with 5 to 10 points spreads.

Right now after just 1 game, I’m predicting our season record has a 50% chance of 7 - 5.

But I am also putting the same odds 30% that we end up 6-6. (.500)

Maybe 10% chance we finish 8-4 and 10% chance we finish 5-7.

So 7-5 is what I would be betting on.

WOW, I see tough games with Georgia. S.Carolina, Miss St., LSU and FSU. Say we go 3-2 in those, throw in another loss like Missouri ( Locke is a STUD ) and I see 9-3 or possibly 8-4.

A bigger pessimist on the W-L record than me.

I would say about a 50% or so chance of going 7-5. A 35% chance of going 8-4 and a 5% chance we collapse to 6-6 or worse along with a 10% chance we go 9-3 or better (I see that as just slightly more possible after watching FSU).

My predicted losses at 7-5 are SC, LSU, MSU, GA and FSU.

Blurry as heck. Hard to see.
But it looks like it might be either an 8-4 or a10-2, just can't be sure....

8-4 is what I would say right now. We'll see after this week.
