Stay Safe Gators.

Dont risk your life for property. Get inland if you are in the path.

Take all your Gator shit with you.

Its looking like landfall near Port Charlotte.

Eerily similar to Charlie’s path.

Those who evacuated Tampa to Orlando are now going to get it in Orlando…again, just like Charlie.

I’m in Orlando and it is taking a similar path as Charlie.
Just got off the phone with our son, who lives in Orlando off Apopka-Vineland Rd. south of Windemere. They're expecting over 20" of rain for Orange & Osceola County. He was in college at UCF when Charley came through and he said this reminds him of that as well. Stay safe, brother.

Crazy stuff. Tampa really got lucky but the bay areas south of there are going to get it bad with the surge.

Stay safe everyone.

Prayers to Port Charlotte and Cape Coral.

This is going to suck.

In Melbourne. We're getting rain (of course), don't really know what to expect.

We're under a tornado watch.

looks like 6-8 inches or rain predicted. Fortunately, not in a flood prone area

As a Hurricane Issac and Ida survivor plus having helped restore communities like Lake Charles and Houston, TX affected by these monsters, my prayers are with you all down there in Florida. God Bless🙏🏿✝🙏🏿✝✝🙏🏿✝

Reminds me of being in Gainesville during college in 2004 when 3 hurricanes in a month or so reamed Florida. Prayers to all ya'll down there. It'll just be some wind and rain remnants by the time it's by me up here near Charlotte.

One of my favorite little getaway places was the quirky little town Matlacha. From what I have seen, it is mostly demolished. Very sad.

sadgator’s extended family lives in Cape Coral. Pine Island is destroyed. Can’t get to the island because the Matlacha bridge is out. Terrible destruction. It will take decades for Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel to even remotely resemble what they were. Cape Coral doesn’t even have running water. It is a regional disaster of epic scale. So sad.
