Game Haiku:
DJ & Baugh balling
Defense active, points flowing
Great seeing mauling

Praises:

* Great seeing Defense metamorphasis last 2 weeks.
- ability to generate turnovers and negative plays has made offense more efficient and generate scoring plays and increased TOP.

* DJ having success winning while still learning.
- His deep throws are a thing of beauty and will be likely what we'll talk about years from now
- His ability to stress defenses with his scramble ability
- Still learning to understand spotting ball when sliding and goal line extended
- Still learning route progressions having greater accuracy on "Mertz throws"

* Baugh - found RB #1
- ability to have nose for endzone and always falling forward.
- able to handle increased workload
- incremental improvement in pass protect

* Coaching
- Praise to the defensive staff for continued improvement
- Praise to Napier - outside of the last 1:30 of Q2 when he played scared; otherwise the mixture of vertical with the run game is exactly the formula needed to beat ranked teams left on sched.

Postulates:
* The Gators have been in the abyss since 2009... figured out they are now coming out of it - starting tonight because of one reason.... The Yankees have made the World Series again. It's been a long 15 years - but the sun is shining brighter today for my 2 favorite programs.

* Bridges is a play maker - always seems to be around the ball

* Nice to go into the bye week with some positive momentum and seeing the back 5 will be challenging but not daunting like the preseason suggested.

* Is it possible to have a path where Napier is no longer dead man walking? With Lagway at QB - you have the high upside of a player who can win a game against ranked teams... So if Florida finishes at least 3-2 and beats either Georgia/Texas, Ole Miss/LSU and FSU; see continued improvement with DJ and the rest of team... how do you not bring CBN back? Even though I wrote him off after A&M - I wouldn't fire him with that finish (unless there's another collosal coaching error/blunder).
