* Florida is in the midst of a two game losing streak and the offense has been non existent for the last month, but this season still went one hell of a whole lot better than ANYONE expected. Florida was picked to finish fifth in the East. Instead they won it. Most thought the Gators would win between 6-8 games at most, they are 10-3. There is damn sure more good than bad at this time. Now, the staff has got to get some playmakers in here on offense and develop a couple of those freshmen offensive linemen. The defense, because of expected losses, will take a step backward next season. The offense will need to take a couple of steps forward.

* Treon Harris takes his hits on here and social media, as well he should, but the coaching staff doesn't deserve a complete pass here. This was the one game where you would think that they would let it all hang out. Roll him out more often, put in VH3 or Callaway in the Wildcat, throw deep half the time, reverses, misdirection, etc... Something. Anything. What they've been doing offensively over the last month hasn't worked against the likes of South Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Vanderbilt and Florida State. Did they think it was all of a sudden going to work against Alabama's defense, rated #2 in the nation coming into the game?

* I would be shocked if Austin Hardin or Harris were in the same position next season. I can see Hardin either transferring or being limited soley to kickoffs. I don't see how he ever attempts another kick in a live game for the Gators regardless of what happens in practice/camp. Harris, give him credit for hanging in there and doing what he can, but he just has too many limitations and flaws to be an effective SEC quarterback. His brother Brandon, who is the same size, is a millionaire cornerback in the NFL. Treon might want to start considering that career path himself. He doesn't have a future as a quarterback.

* If Will Grier had better decision making skills or Jeff Driskel were still on the team, Florida would have been a top 10 type of team.

* Antonio Callaway, if he remains healthy and Florida finds a quarterback, will be a Heisman Trophy candidate perhaps as early as next year, but as a junior for certain. He is just that dynamic of a playmaker as a wide receiver and in the return game.

* The Gators are in a position of really almost hoping for the worst bowl possible, in order to draw the worst opponent possible, in order to avoid a three game losing streak to end the season.

* The biggest question mark now, which of the junior eligible players will be back? Especially on defense.
