I think he was going to be next year's big surprise before being called upon due to injury. My early favorite for the Heisman next year.

JT Barrett had more TDs than Mariotta when he went down. He can recruit, its that simple

Hmmm. Pretty sure JT Barrett will be back for Ohio State next year and they have this guy Cardale Jones. They are more than fine at QB.

Right...and Christian Jones touched it. Hence why the other guy had to run back and actually knee it down so the whistle would blow.

I am not sure that would be "wrong" But it is what would have probably happened.
