Players say Nuss is fine they just don't run the plays called sometimes

“I mean, yeah, I honestly do because sometimes Coach Nuss calls the right play but the play isn’t run, everybody doesn’t do their assignments to the best of their ability,” said Callaway. “So the play doesn’t look like it’s drawn up, you could say.”

Appleby said Nuss is calling good plays but sometimes the players aren't on the same page and lack of execution is the result of wrong routes and other things by the players.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That still has to fall on Nuss even if the players are screwing up their responsibilities and don't know the damn playbook good evidently.

A lack of total perfection???? Then obviously they need to cancel all player ships and fire the entire staff TODAY!!!

that's because this is coming from our #1 target that gets his touches

I'm hoping that in the coming off season, that everyone of the D-D-P & A chumps stay right here, constantly posting their idiot crap. That way, at least the rest of the world will be getting a break from them...

If players consistently don't execute it's still a coaching problem. The coaches either need to do a better job teaching the offense or replace the players that aren't executing. Either or. I wonder how other coaches get their players to execute? Must be luck. Nuss is so unlucky those damn players just won't execute for him.

Just read some of Mac's interview. Starting to think he is delusional himself. It sounded about as nutty as Nuss's interview.

This is the troof!

They really believe everything is fine. We aren't close and he has used his getting to Atlanta now, Mac will need to field an offense and beat some good teams or he will be back where he belings as Mike Bobo's OC at CSU

Players will always defend their coach. Our players do it to charles kelly. That guy sucks. Yet the players think he is great

I remember when Muschamp said Driskell was playing well too. I want to see it in action.

Probably good practice players. They can take all the direction and throw it where they get told to in practice but then in a game where they actually have to read and react it all goes to hell. Happens all the time.

I guess the little bit of practice some people saw Franks threw an interception. I just hope he can learn the game and come in and play well or in the alternative Trask is some baller on gameday that hasn't got his big opportunity yet.

The two picks aside, Appleby played about as well as he could. He hit some good passes. He made some good reads. He also missed a lot of passes that could have/would have blown the game wide open earlier. He held the ball far too long sometimes

I think ht played about as well as he is capable. That is a tribute to him and the coaching staff.

And thankfully we won't have to see him or LDR take another snap. We UF fans deserve a break.
bttt

We can only hope that either Franks or Trask are good enough to beat LDR out. The good news is that once this coaching staff saw LDR in multiple games, they finally understood his limitations.

What percentage of UF's first downs does Callaway account for? I wouldn't be surprised if it were close to 50, although late in the year your RB Scarlett played well when you remember to call his number. Thought you guys abandoned the run a bit early a few times. You guys are going to miss Callaway after next year.

The Mc defensive recruits looked pretty good to me, and it didn't seem to matter that many of them were just 2-3 star 'rated' coming out of HS.... And tFr Gardener would have had 2 Pic-6's if Duke Dawson had thrown a decent downfield block for him. o_O

Speaking of throwing a block, Goolsby whiffed badly at least twice, as did Scarlett, plus Scarlett can't even catch a freakin' pitch-out but about half the time. Has anyone else noticed that his YPC went down the more total carries he's given in a game? He actually did better when he only got 7-10 carries a game. o_O

And Mark Thompson is still not a very good RB,,, is he?
Thompson caught the pass in the left flat, ran through a couple Iowa arm tackles, then used a stiff arm to break into the clear and outrun the Hawkeyes the remaining 50 yards for the longest touchdown reception in the Outback's 31-year history.

"I'm going to tell everyone it was an 85-yard bomb," Appleby said. (at least he has a descent sense of humor)

Mark Thompson Sr - Jordan Scarlett Jr - Lamical Perine So - Malik Davis Fr - and maybe Adarius Lemons Fr
That line-up is just begging for a committee in 2017, even if Lemons doesn't come or if he redshirts (to help his academics) in 2017.
Also, a 'TE Committee' approach might prove a lot more productive...

Mc-Nuss-Shannon-- #20 8-4 UF 30 - 3 Iowa #21 8-4
Now,,, either go ahead and jump on the back of this (10-4--9-4) Gator band-wagon that I've been driving for the last 2 seasons, or at least just sit down and STHU for a change.!

PS

They (Mc-Nuss) only have one more thing to show me, and that's that they can take one of these 3 guys (Franks-Trask-Allen) and make him into a solid starting QB for 2017....

I don't think Calloway will do anything in the NFL but be a return guy. Assuming he remembers not let it go thru the end zone when his heels are on the goal line. Actually, I don't know that they do that in the pros. Anyone?

I think Scarlett has played lights out this whole year.

Spurs always said that lack of execution is on the coaches. Whether he was being genuine, who knows?

We have plenty of talent at the skilled positions...we need a good QB...get a guy who can play well and that changes everything.

2015 UF 325 - 256 Opponents (-69) -- forced to use 2 different QB's
10-4 SECe-C, SEC CoY

2016 UF 311 - 218 Opponents (-93) - again forced to use 2 different QB's
9-4 (10-4 without hurricane), SECe-C again.
UF 30 - 3 Iowa (Iowa 14 - 13 Mich)

So yep, I see what you guys mean about having zero offensive execution....

Ghost would give you his favorite word for just looking at it that simply, do you know what the word is

No, and don't G-a-S either. But there's a word for your type of fan too, do you know what it is? ;)
