This board has become a lot like watching paint dry, gone are the obnoxious but interesting posters replaced by mostly inflexible keyboard jockeys . This used to be a place populated by smart asses but none with poor intentions and it was entertaining. Now under the “new rules” it has become a lot like a Joe Biden rally; very hard to watch. Miss the good old days.

Over at SoonerScoop we used to have the OOB (Out of Bounds) where rockets were launched. But our lib moderators chose to delete that option and force those OOB lovers to go with the Crimson Corner - totally football-driven. Any nonsense beyond football talk will get your license to post suspended or removed permanently. I have chosen to leave that rotten site permanently and post here with these mostly fun-loving, like-minded Gators, et. al.

I think the potential demise of America is more important to me. Only thing I do not care for is the constant trolling by the less smart people(no name calling). I LOVE to debate politics. I enjoy my new made board friends here, and enjoy reading their inputs, and sharing mine. I have been very political since I was about 16 yrs old, and reading this board I get a bunch of news I may not see elsewhere....but have to comb thought the trolling from the party that currently is doing their best to RUIN my Country.

When @nail1988 and I and a few others started posting here in 2016, this was a dead board. There was no politics, no fighting, and no activity. There were about 3 new threads a month. You can go back far enough and see what the board was like prior to our arrival.

Funny thing is, @BSC911 was posting here for years before we arrived. He didn't troll back then, and was largely ignored. I think those two things go together.

Also prior to 2016, it was a completely different world. Hell I didn't talk politics, cause I didn't care.

I care now that I know what is happening. I think we all do. Prior to 2016, I was happy to talk about TV series and sororities and celebs too. I was happy to cut it up and be a smartass with fellow smartasses.

The country is at stake now. So is the world. Let's save America, then we can go back to being jokesters for our own amusement.

What used to make the off topic board rock were some late 20's year old UF graduates who actually knew each other. They slowly disappeared 10 years ago. Life happens, people evolve and grow out of the Animal House syndrome and move on. They were extremely entertaining. One thing about life is that it is ever changing and not static.
