Texas is now 3-4 and just beat a 3-3 KState team. Congrats I guess? I've always been a big Strong fan but so far it's been a fight for him at Texas. He's scratching and clawing. I'm pretty sure I've always said he will get a 3rd year. Next year is his make or break.
Texas got shutout by Iowa St. this weekend. He may leave Texas on his own after this season. If he stays then he has next year to prove himself but he has no QB on the roster from what I can tell.
I think Charlie may have miscalculated the mess Mack left there.Good luck to him, but don't think it ends well.
I agree. I think if he was assured year 4 he might be OK because he could land a good class, but its hard without a QB.
Hell no. What have we learned from promoting DCs to HBC? Stoops is an anomaly and even at that, I'm happy with where we are at now. So many DC's promoted to head coach try to dictate the game based on their defensive philosophy. The flagship school in Florida demands a high powered offense. We will get there.
