There's nothing to salvage for our season. We could still lose to the 3 remaining teams on our schedule we were slated to lose to, LSU, UGLY, and UGLY-Tallahassee. We could lose our starting QB and Treon harris is still good enough to get this team to victories against Missouri, Vandy, USC, and FAU. That'd be a 9-3 season which is pretty darn successful for an unranked program who was supposed to finish 5th in the SEC East this year.
That's the problem I see for FSU in our matchup. We never had a lot of expectations riding into this season. Wins against Ole Miss are just pure unexpected joy. Even the win against UT was triumph of good over evil for us, even though we were supposedly supposed to lose that game somehow.
Just who on FSU's schedule is penciled in as an expected loss? Nobody. You play nobody all season long. Maybe if UF is good enough we'll provide you competition in the last game of the season, but other than that you play 11 completely nobody teams, so the onus is on you to win EVERY one of them and not just squeak by, but win them big.
(NO Clempson is NOT a good team, does not deserve to be ranked, and neither is Miami. Clempson's claim to fame this year seems to be hanging on for dear life to eek out a win over MASSIVELY overhyped notre dame. All i'm seeing today in comment sections all over the place is how Ole Miss was SOOOOO overrated. Well two can play that same game, Notre Dame was SOOOOO overrated so Clempsun beating them means nothing to me. Just one crap team beating up on another. FSU is not off the hook and should beat Clemmyson 100-0 if they truly deserve to be in the national championship game this year.)
Yeah I'm quite happy where my team is at right now, considering pre-season expectations. How are you FSU fans feeling now that ol' Lady-Puncher Cook has a hamstring injury that your coach refuses to elaborate upon? He's the one guy your entire season was riding on if I'm not mistaken.
