Outstanding thread on how feminism has ruined America

Interesting thread. I really agree with the post saying basically you double the workforce, increase the tax base, create demand for childcare, tutoring, etc…

Basically, if you double the workforce, it’s bad for labor. It’s not that different than open borders.

But where I think women have really had a negative impact is in their susceptibility to narratives. I think it’s because they’re wired genetically to compare themselves to others. Probably a herd characteristic. But psychological marketers figured out that you can market anything by selling women a lifestyle and then the women in turn put the screws on the men, who are also susceptible to narratives but are particularly susceptible to pressure from women.

Then politics were just the logical extension of the marketing. That’s why you end up with the left putting crazy policies like advocating for trans men in girls bathrooms and locker rooms and ridiculous energy policy. They convinced women that equates to empathy and enlightenment.

This is a very good point, I recently saw a woman say "Women don't wear makeup for men, we wear makeup for other women'. I think the left sold women on the idea that simply staying home and being a homemaker and raising a family was limiting, even demeaning.

Moving women away from the home did two important things: It crippled the family structure. Men simply cannot provide the nurturing and stability to the family that women can. It's the role of a mother and no one else can do it as well.

And second, it crippled the earning potential for BOTH the husband and wife. Which further hurt the family unit.

It's crazy how the crazy low fertility issue is happening all over the world except in the very poorest countries. China even though it's communist (though some things are opened up) has recently just dropped below Japan in its replacement rate at not much over 1 when you need just over 2 long term. China also has an even bigger problem than the west coming soon with so much of their population being 45+ born prior to the one child policy they had before. South Korea has even dropped below 1.0 I think in fertility rates which is an insane demographic problem waiting to happen.

The US I think is around 1.7 which is going to cause huge issues also due to demographics and so many old people. We have went from demographics driving a good economy because of the baby boomers in the 90s being the prime ages for income and consumption to now there will be a huge drag on that in the future.

This is spot on. Did you ever watch women in a public setting and how they react when they see other women? I do this all the time when I travel whether it be the airport, restaurant, etc. It is fascinating how they examine other women to the nth degree on looks, actions, clothes, etc.
