You also have to look at how fast our offense was coming off the field. Like I mentioned they scored 28 points in a 10 minute timeframe. So let's say for arguments sake those 4 drives only had 4 plays a piece. That's the equivalent of a 16 play, 10 min drive. That's gonna take a toll on a defense. We had six straight 3 and outs and didn't spend too much time on the field any one of those drives.
Now I do think the defense needs to take blame but the plan didn't really change in the second half. In the first half we crowded the line and dared them to throw and we did. E exact same thing in the second half. Only difference between the two halves is our DB's had their heads up their ass in the 2nd half and Tennessee also stopped dropping a bunch of passes. Bottom line though is to start the second half our defense got the offense the ball back over and over and they decided to run, run, run and punt time and time again. If we'd have scored at any time during that drought we put pressure on them and it's likely a different game.
