This post I have been waiting 3 years to write, but I am proud to say my nephew has committed to play football for Navy! He’s been QB1 at Deerfield Beach HS the past two seasons, and I think he’d admit it hasn’t gone the way he anticipated. DBHS is not the same program it once was, but he persevered and earned this scholarship.
He’ll transition to CB at Navy, and he’ll split time at QB and CB for his senior season. I cannot wait to see him at Navy. 3 sport athlete that ran a 4.47, 37” vertical, 10’ 9” broad jump. Also has a 5.17 GPA. He’ll study Aeronautical Engineering at Navy.
