OT - New Gator Booster Reception

This is my first year as a season ticket owner, and I got an email for the New Gator Booster Reception on Friday before the McNeese game. Does anyone have any idea what this really is about? Is it worth attending?

I was planning on driving up Saturday morning, but trying to determine if it is worth traveling a day early to hit this event.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
