Former UCF football player Otis Anderson Jr. was shot and killed in a double shooting at his parents’ home Monday night in Jacksonville, Fla. Anderson, 23, was reportedly killed by his father.
Otis Lee Anderson Sr., was arrested at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, and charged with two counts of second-degree murder. According to Ashley Harding from News 4 in Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the Forest Trails area by I-295 and Dunn Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a man and a woman shot. The man, Anderson Jr., died at the hospital. The woman, Anderson's mother Denise, was also shot.
