This is the wrong board. This is the sports board.
If this was the correct board, I would tell you you are entirely clueless. The Alaskan pipeline has not been shut down, and the Biden policies, even if permanent, will not impact the state until 2030. Here is an article to that effect, from energy insiders. But if you are like the rest of the fools over on that other board, you will believe that you know more about the energy situation in Alaska than the people who work in that industry and specialize in Alaska energy, and will just say that the article is 'fake news".
Oh, and btw, pumping more oil won't lower the price. Don't you understand? The big oil companies use any worldwide unrest as an excuse to blow up gas prices. We could be pumping twice as much, gas would still costs what it costs today. And you know, we wouldn't be pumping twice as much, because the government doesn't pump oil, oil companies pump it, and aren't going to pump more to lower prices, they like high prices. Alaska's governor is playing you for a fool. "Let us pump twice as much". What a joke. No matter how much you pull out of the ground, there is a maximum that old pipeline can handle. And PLEASE don't try to play the Keystone card, because the Keystone pipeline is fully operational, and moves Canadian oil anyway.
Finally, the world uses 100 million barrels of oil a day. Alaska produces about 500K a day. 1/2 of 1 percent. Even doubling the output would not change the price of oil one bit.
Stop listening to politicians.
