First and foremost, we don't know what is going to happen. I will say that Florida is a different team (Alabama game notwithstanding) at home than they are on the road.
Having said that, under this scenario, would you prefer to see the Gators in the Big Dance or the NIT?
If UF makes the Tournament Field, the way things look now, it would likely be as a lower seed (10, 11, 12), having to play - perhaps a top 5, 6 or 7 seed. While anything can happen, that would likely end up in a one and done for UF.
In the NIT, Florida would likely get to play a game or two at home.
The question then, would you rather be one and done in the Big Dance or go further, perhaps even win, the NIT?
