That would have been the record no matter who was the coach. Normal year Norvell wins 7 games.
When willie came here he wanted to make a splash hire and went after deion hard. Deion wanted to be here but not as just a DB coach. The timing was weird as well because deions son was in high school still. People dont realize how close that was to happening but deion wanted to be DC. If deion has a ton of success i wouldnt be surprised to see him added to fsus staff but as the HC? Im not sure that will ever happen unless its 10 yrs down the line and Norvell is tired of winning titles here
Look at the money Bama has. If Saban wants a 24K goblet to drink water out of and only use one per 8oz, they can afford that. FSU, not so much. Also, it was more than just Jimbo's wants...he let the program die during his tumultuous divorce.
Not happy with Taggart and that was solidified after the very first game.
I'm still in it with Norvel. I think he has great potential....Paco was spot on in his assessment of Taggart and I've owned that one a long time ago.

Honestly lost of coaches would have done much better than 3-6. I can rattle off a good list of coaches that wouldn’t have lost to GT, Pitt or Lville. I think you wouldn’t be honest with yourself if you thought Norvell was impressive this year.

I personally think Jimbo is going to turn A&M into the next Clemson. You already know that he is a National Championship coach. An ace recruiter. Developed a Heisman trophy winning qb but most importantly he's finally in a program that has a vision to be a football powerhouse from the top of the administration on down. Something that he never had at Florida St. Add an unlimited football budget for recruiting, coaches salaries and analysts. A&M will be a football power for years to come right next to Bama and Clemson.
If that comes to pass Bama will offer him $14M a year when Saban retires.

Just put them on ignore. That’s what I do. I only wish there was a way to completely block them so they never see my posts eityer so I never have to interact with any noles at all. That should be an option on a Gator board.
