How loud would MAGA be shouting in glee if a Democrat underperformed so much? A 20% drop in a district gerrymandered to favor Republicans is not a good sign for Trump.
I predict the Presidential election will be decided by the debate on June 27. Biden will be Presidential and will focus on issues that affect the American people. Trump will just whine and cry about how unfairly the press and DOJ mistreat him and he will continue to deny the 2020 election results. Biden will also show his mental acuity is much greater that the rambling, bumbling Orange Man.
I also predict Trump's performance will be so bad that there won't be a second debate.

No I made a mistake. I meant the state - Rulli won the election by about the same % as the state broke for Trump.

And it was an honest one, totally unlike you claiming Trump's endorsements "cost" the Republicans the midterms. You're either lying or are clueless. On a relative basis to other politicians Trump is a kingmaker in the party. It's not his fault that so few pass the muster to receive his support.

And did you do any research on how terrible overall turnout was in this special election you're so horny over?

This Special Election (off cycle election in case you don't understand) saw 31k votes cast. 2022 general had 280k and 2020 331k voters participating in the same race.

I hope you can understand basic math, when the turnout is this low it takes fewer people to skew the numbers.

Also, Johnson had also been an incumbent since the flipped the seat red 14 years ago. And in the race where he flipped it he won by 5%, before that it was blue for several cycles. So this is clearly a case of a district with a wildly popular incumbent that the people supported keeping in office. The new guy is obviously nowhere near as popular.

Again, easy on those straws, don't grasp too hard. This Special Election is not the canary in the coal mine you think it is.
