I also believe that the virus was already here. I believe the die was cast at that point given the size and nature of our population. I think this virus is much more manageable in a totalitarian, communist society where the people don't expect individual freedoms or privacy. I also believe that the cases are under reported and under detected in those countries.

Tell me what Trump should be doing? He restricted travel earlier than the Dems wanted to. He has allowed each state to make their own decisions for restrictions and safety precautions, which should be the case because governors know their state better than the federal government. He has provided any support they have requested. He was doing daily briefings until the media turned it into a bashing Trump circus. He has allowed the CDC to set up guidelines and run the task force. Where is the incompetence? You want him to shut down the entire Country and restrict everyone to their homes for months? He has also lifted the red tape on FDA testing for a vaccine. Let’s not forget he has diverted companies to help in the fight. So please show me the incompetence and how Obama would have fixed this?

There is absolutely nothing more that Trump could do other than declaring Martial Law and completely shutting the Country down for 6 months to a year. That is not an option, unless you are completely deranged. There is a thing called personal responsibility that doesn’t exist in BSC’s world. If you are in a high risk group, stay isolated and practice COVID safety precautions. It’s not the responsibility of the federal government to spoon feed every individual in this Country unless you are someone like BSC.

You are absolutely right. I don’t understand why someone would take such a stance to defend that type of logic. You basically have to throw out common sense.
