I've never covered, heard about or read about any coach who puts more emphasis on winning and losing every single day than does Urban Meyer.
With all of his success, I am surprised more coaches haven't followed suit, or been as vocal about it as he is.
I know there are some issues with off the field behavior that fans certainly don't miss, but in this day and age of participation trophies, there's no questioning that Meyer believed in rewarding those who won and I do agree with that.
Everything, every day is a competition and he comes right out and tells you, for the winners, life is much easier. The winners eat better, get better gear, go to the head of the line, etc...
I know he is gone, but this is still an interesting read that touches on his time at Florida as well as OSU.
