Gators offered Thomas after his performance in their satellite camp in Detroit

"Just talked to the Detroit Martin Luther King four-star cornerback and he said that he probably won't be able to make it to the BBQ. That shouldn't mean too much, he's been on-campus a ridiculous amount of times. Jaylen Kelly-Powell said earlier he was probably going to have Thomas come with him, so we'll see if they can work something out there.
Thomas did let me know that Florida is very heavily in the mix now. I asked him if any teams had jumped Michigan and he plainly answered with 'Florida'
It was a no-doubter for Michigan, from what we knew, a couple weeks ago with Thomas. But with Florida hitting the gas hard now, they will have to sway him back and hopefully get him to the BBQ to distract he and Kelly-Powell from Florida and Alabama.
As for Florida/Michigan races, it looks like the Gators are now their biggest competition for not only Thomas, but also Detroit Cass Tech five-star WR Donovan Peoples-Jones.
It's early, so fans shouldn't panic. It's better they have competition now than on signing day."
