They just planned flights with these guys in the last few days?
I mean...maybe...but highly unlikely.
All the five stars were scheduled this week. Radley-Hiles, Jones, Cook, and Woodbey. The 6 four stars were all set up this week as well. As of last Sunday, there were no official visits scheduled for this weekend. It all happened this week.
Again, I find that very hard to believe.
You make it sound as if it was off a whim at the last second and lo and behold here they all are.
They were all set last week. I'm not linking to other sites, but it's incontrovertible.
They probably won't get any of them by the way, I'm only contesting the assertion that these visits were set up a long time ago.
What happens if guys like Trey Dean, Emory Jones, Noah Banks and Van Jefferson all sign up for UF? This thread will start to look off base and maybe started a little too early.
No I would just assume they had been lined up for a while considering it’s right before early signing
I would have assumed that too but it became pretty evident that Jimbo did next to zero recruiting in advance of his departure. There were prospects saying they hadn't heard from staff in weeks or longer. Granted, Trick, Kelly and Dawsey have been out on the road some since Willie came on, and some of this kids from this weekend were still verbals, but most of this is due to Willie.

Jefferson’s not a recruit he’s a transfer.
Banks is just a 3*.

I’ve always been against these type of threads when it comes to recruiting. Yes I’m all for following recruiting, etc. and it is an important part of any program but IMO it is still too early to get up in arms about it, especially a transition class. At least wait until mid-January to make the “sky is falling” post.

JMOHO here, but Mullen/Johnson will sign Emory Jones on Wednesday. That would be swapping out a 4-5 star CA QB-PP for a 4-5 star QB-DT that fit's in with Mullen's offense.

I think the O.P will gladly retract his/her original statement now. With Dean, Jones, Van Jefferson, Reese and Brown all signed up and ready to go.
I know Jefferson is a transfer but I am certain we wont drop 25 spots. We still have plenty of space if Mullen wants to sign a full class.

Sad when individuals use the word troll as a weapon, I support and have been to more gator events home and away, men’s and women’s teams than you have probably watched on TV.
Very proud day for me and many gators and I’m thrilled that the staff made my original comments a distant thought and unlike many others, I have no problem admitting that. I offered my opinion and how I felt at the time
But keep in mind what makes any message board successful are opinions, whether you agree or not, it’s a forum for opinion. And for those that feel the need to disrespect others with rubbish like stfu, you expose your true character.
It’s a great start to the 2018 class, and momentum is with us, especially because of the Jones signing, as others have said getting a quality QB was critical, and the staff did that
