Pitt is a solid mid level team, but for the Disney knights to be ranked 15 was way off.
No ring for UCF this year.

UCF is a good Team, they can compete on a one game basis against big boys(P5). I don't think they would hold up against our schedule with anything better than 8 wins.
Keep in mind their top 2 QB's are out for the season and the grad transfer from Notre Dame got beat out by a true freshman from Hawaii. They are still a solid team, but did not play very well today. Pitt was inspired and their defense dominated UCF's O-line for most of the game. Pitt seems to rise up and knock off a ranked team every year and came within 2 yards of beating Penn State last week. I'm a Gator through and through, but our son is a UCF alum and I always pull for them except when they match up against the Gators in other sports. But you guys are right - their dreams of a playoff bid and bragging rights of any kind for this year are done.

But they oddly called for so much more respect and became beyond annoying
Injuries are a part of it for everyone and last I checked Florida lost its starter during the season.
In terms of today, this was not a fluke. Pitt outplayed Central for much of the game. Central had a really good 15-20 minutes but were handled the rest of the game
With its schedule Central will not likely lose many more. Cincy is decent, not sure who they play from the west. If they win their division they will play a good Memphis or Houston or hell SMU is undefeated and Tulane is much improved. Navy undefeated too.

Was a big fan of their 2017 team with Frost. They've gotten so obnoxious since then though I'm happy when they lose.
Ooze, I’ve always hated UCF going back to when I was at GS. We hosted them for a playoff game and their fans, mostly students, were the biggest bunch of assholes we’d ever seen there. Big fight in the parking lot when one of them tried to steal a handle of Beam from a good old boy. They ran him down and beat the shit out of him. Also ran across a bunch of UCF ATOs in Daytona on spring break. Fvck those people, all of them.
Lol. What year was this? UCF definitely has a complex. You’ll be able to relate but they’re like the kids who go to middle Georgia or north Georgia for school.
Agreed...they deserve credit but their fans are douche bags...I lived in Orlando for 12 years and works for a healthcare company out of Winter Park...their fans are delusional. They play a very weak schedule. They run a good offense but week in and week out in the SEC they would have 7-8 wins at best IMO.

Yes that NYE day I experienced what douches they were first hand in person. They left the Liberty Bowl yelling at UGA fans with little kids. They came to Beale acting a fool taking mad ish to any and everybody especially anyone with another college team gear on. You know as I know Memphis isn't the safest place to run the piehole. Saw a little crap talker literally picking up his teeth off Beale Street.
I can't stand that fan base. The AAC refs protected what they thought was their little investment for the past two years. That's why they have a reputation of being called UCreF.

My high school teammate played for them from 89 to 91 or 92. Me and like 9 other people went to their games a few times.
UCF has a good football team.
However, I agree with most posters on the board pointing out playing a P5 schedule of opponents (example SEC Conference) versus a G5 slate would significantly reduce the win total for UCF.
Last year UCF would have a hard time going through Pitt's schedule (OOC games Notre Dame, Penn State, UCF, Albany, ACC conference teams and final game against Clemson) and end up 12-1.
Some of their fans believe that they are unfairly ranked because they are a G5 team (schedules matter).
