No Cure For Liberal Insanity

These people are insane. I thought it got bad under Bush some but they went batsh*t level crazy when Trump got elected in 2016.
And reading Jimbo's post on another thread made me remember. It is NOT because of his policies. THEY HATE THE MAN. He could cure cancer. Hell...he successfully made 3 mid east peace deals...and not one gave him ANY props for it. They KNOW he will be the reason they lose power. THAT is why they hate him

No, I think they hate him because their puppet master told them to hate him.

Had something like this happen to me one afternoon just after arriving home from work. But no problem, my wife and I shut it down in about 2 minutes by coming out in the yard and talking to the two guys that were supposedly responding to a 'domestic incident' at the address.

Reaction: Stay calm, answer all questions clearly and promptly, and do as they directed.
Problems solved very quickly....

Being a long time Honorary Member of the Florida Sheriffs Association, with both home and vehicle displays, might have been helpful. Although since neither I nor they brought it up, maybe it never came into consideration. The above reaction advice is good either way.

Not always. You can walk out the door wondering what the hell is going on and have a SWAT team take you out because so many cops are trigger happy. They will scream at you and then shoot you for "reaching for something" because they made you nervous. Many cops are literally a loaded weapon ready to mow you down on these calls. It's why they need to start slam dunking the people doing this and using all the resources they have to arrest them.

feveredbrains, that response of yours is filled with baseless speculations and accusations.
Example: Give me the number of police responses compared to your claims of police over-reactions?

"Reaction: Stay calm, answer all questions clearly and promptly, and do as they directed.

Mostly I just walked away released after the interactions, but a few times I had to pay the toll for my behavior, mostly a few minor traffic infractions.

Maybe the citizens need to be better trained on how to respond to law enforcement officers?
And it never hurts to have better training and/or retraining of the officers.
Everyone on both sides remaining CALM is the most basic key imo....

BS - do you need to see the videos. How about the babies in cribs screwed up because the cops thought it would be cool to throw stun grenades in a house with a baby serving a warrant. How about the people mowed down late at night at their own home because the cops went to the wrong address to serve a warrant.

Most cops are good but it's not some small number that aren't worth a damn and have no common sense. Why do you think the FBI and some local cops are so easily weaponized against political opponents of the left?

I would say you have a pretty good chance of getting blown away if you answer the door with your legal handgun late at night because someone is banging like crazy on your door. You even have a chance of getting blown away if you are unarmed in that scenario.

More raging speculations but without the numbers that I asked you for....
Oh BTW, I was armed in 2 of those interactions without having any problems with it, both times ended with no further interactions due to me being a CCW permit armed citizen.

You are full of it. Factual things that have happened show there is a big problem. Before video was everywhere the cops would just lie and say something in their report to make the shooting sound justified. Someone answering loud banging with a handgun at their side for protection would turn into they pointed it at the cop. Someone on their porch shot by the trigger happy SWAT team cop would have a metal object placed by them to say the cop thought it was a gun when the person was just raising their empty hands because the cops had them nervous.

I guess you must love the FBI and local cops weaponized by the left also since you had a good interaction and that means cops are almost always good and could never be weaponized in the US like that.

I notice that you've yet to produce any data probing your opinion/speculations....

So you've got 3 examples to what, 100,00 law enforcement encounters?
(jmoo, but your feveredbrain seems to be working overtime on this)

It's kinda like I've ran over 4-5 squirrels on the road in my lifetime, so call PETA on me quick, because I'm now a squirrel mass murder. 🙄

SO? -- While there have been MILLIONS of law enforcement encounter over the years....

fever, it's not a matter of IF a bad thing has encountered, ever.
It's how often does it happen in the overall ratio.

You're saying look how terrible those few are. (we can both agree on that)
I'm saying that the ratio is very low. (which you seem to want to totally ignore)

My advice and challenge to you is, to go do that job (that less than 10% are even willing to do) for a year, and you'd get a shocking wake-up call on reality. Much like the clueless VN protester that took it out on the returning honorable solders/sailors in lieu of accepting their own responsibility as the citizens that put the government in place to make their decisions.

I worked around LEO for years. If I had to put a number on the ones I wouldn't want handling a situation like those I would say around 20% (luckily most didnt get those situations). Before video was everywhere I was called an idiot for saying a lot of cops shouldn't be a cop and the training then was also creating these crazy shootings. Since all these videos started coming out and law enforcement was so easily weaponized against Trump supporters (waving people into the building and having no issue lying on the stand to convict people when the video that was hidden until after trial showed the cop was 100% lying about what the person did to them, FBI plants stirring up the crowd) people know the reality now.

Back attcha though. Your own poor experiences with the LEO's has warped you impression of the nationwide LEO's.
As has the criminal weaponization of Law Enforcement and the Courts/Judges in the Northeast / DC....
Where are you from, and where now?

I've had the exact opposite experiences here in Free Florida.
Places I've lived in FL: Tampa, Boca Chica Key, several of the rural communities outside of and surrounding Alachua Co.
I'm not an in-town kinda guy anymore, after growing up on the East end of Ybor City / Tampa in the 50's/60's, but even there the cops, while they could be annoying at times, were mostly honest and just doing their jobs.

I live in FL and my observations are from working with them here in FL years back. Don't get me wrong I like the good ones and they themselves would rather not be in some situations with some of their trigger happy fellow cops. If you asked me to peg the time in FL that the new breed of cop started to produce a lot of idiots I would peg it with the newer cops around the mid 90s. The training was an issue also because it stressed being able to go one step higher than the other person in that use of force matrix without stressing common sense enough. I have been told that changed in recent years though since some cops started getting prosecuted unlike previous years. I was told they revamped it now and stress common sense and that the cop could get in big trouble if they don't use common sense. Having bodycams etc now has stopped a lot of the BS also by the idiot ones.

IF she's really worried about not being able to leave, (which is total WOKE BS) then she should get her ticket out now, doing all the real Constitutional Americans a huge favor....
