When a player signs an NIL deal at a school is it a 1 year deal or multi year deal? I am fine with players whether pro or college getting whatever they can, but a CONTRACT is a contract. It is why I never support a pro player holding out. They might be the best at their position still under a rookie deal, but they signed a contract and they have a legal obligation to honor it. Re-negotiating early might be the right or smart thing for the team to do, but they have no LEGAL obligation to do so.

Are guys like Robinson and Aberdeen walking away from legally binding contracts in place? Are these just handshake agreements because formal contracts are not allowed? Are these 1 year contracts?

I just want to know if my attitude should be "Players are violating contracts so F them" or "Players are not legally bound so good for them that they are exercising their rights in a free market economy"

@SRGators @kcflagator @bblake08 @HalleyGator44 @Heisman Gator 1 thanks in advance for providing insight IF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO.
