The ACC is the worst Power 5 Conference by a wide wide margin.
That comment was mainly geared at the other teams in the ACC. Yes Clemson is good. What about the rest of the conference? Who is the 2nd best team in the ACC? Is that team even ranked in the top 25 b
All I know is we are the best 5 loss team you’ll face all year. Get ready for a war.

I dont like rankings. They are skewed. Was Georgia ranked ahead of Texas last yr? Wasnt Bama ahead of clemson? Rankings are meaningless to me. I realize thats how most "measure" how good a team is but its horribly inaccurate. Dont get it twisted.... I dont think this is a strong yr for the ACC. We may very well be the worst of the p5s this yr. I think we fluctuate a lot in conference rankings from yr to yr.

You are talking about a 1 off/game scenario where upsets happen all the time. See USCjr over UGA. Should USCjr be ranked ahead of UGA since they beat them even though they are 4-7 on the year?? Rankings are determined by your body of work and what you have accomplished during the entire season.
Rankings are very meaningful because it takes the body of work not just 1 game.
How fo you judge someones body of work? Clemson has a far better body of work than Bama IMO and its not even close. I actually think Clemson has better wins than Bama. The SEC is pretty strong this yr but Bama only played Lsu....and was a punt return away from a blowout

Huh? No they aren’t. They just lost to Clemson 52-3. WK got crushed by VT also. A&M lost to Clemson by 14 points. Did you even know that? I’m guessing you didn’t. Talk about a bubble

ACC is terrible. They get their second best team in the orange Bowl as well by contract. They will likely be unranked and with 4-5 losses.

Thats what happens when you constantly play ACC teams. We just beat up on each other.
Never said it did but don’t try and tell me Wake Forest is better than A&M either. Look at Wake’s other losses as well. They are pretty bad losses.
I remember 2005, the year FSU was 8-4 and ACC champ and got the Orange bowl. And lost. Bad as the ACC is this year, it's been worse.

Look at WFs total body of work. A very underwhelming 7-3 record. They’ve got crushed a few times as well. They certainly wouldn’t be favored in a game against A&M.
A&M is just an above average team but still better than Wake Forest. They aren’t great by no means but they are competitive and haven’t got their doors blown off like Wake has a few times.

Va, Va Tech and Wake are the next in line after Clemson. Not sure which is the best of that group, but I would put them all in between TAMU and UT as far as strength goes. Well, VA Tech might be equal to the Aggies, so I guess they would be the #2 in the ACC. Which would make them the 6th best team were they in the SEC.
Huh? I think Bama’s schedule is week but Clemson’s is hella weak. If you’re gonna bash Bama’s schedule you damn sure can’t say Clemson has any quality wins. Their best win is A&M who’s gonna end up with 5 losses in what you call the overrated SEC. Clemson hasn’t beat a ranked team all year.
Neither has bama. Bama plays the easiest schedule damn near every yr. You dont win 98% of your conference games because your conference is good. The SEC leg humpers are always good for a lugh tho. Yet over the past 5 yrs its pretty even if wins and losses against each other. I have to dig up the stats constantly for people and show them. The sec was far better for about 10 straight yrs. Its not that way anymore. You guys were claiming bama was the team ever last yr..... Then clemson steam rolled them
Yea, that’s the point. Bama’s schedule is weak but homerism and SEC hate can’t even keep you from admitting Clemson’s is worse. If you think Bama hasn’t beat anybody, and they haven’t, then the same is true for Clemson. And no I didn’t think Bama was the best team last year. Pretty sure the posts are still on here. And said LSU would win the SEC in preseason. So it has nothing to do with pumping them up.
Both Bama and Clemson played A&M but Bama will also have played LSU and Auburn. Clemson played mighty Wake Forest as their 2nd toughest opponent.
Well Auburn is better than anybody on Clemson’s schedule. Sorry you walked right into that one. Clemson has ZERO wins then in your scenario.
Ranking aren't meaningless but they usually get corrected by the end of the year. Week 1-5 half of the teams in the top 15 aren't close to where they will be at the end of the year and there will probably be 3-4 that aren't ranked at all by the end of the season.
