I’m actually from Texas but, went to school at THE University of Florida. The Longhorns couldn’t win the pathetic, ZERO Defense Big 8,10 or whatever you call it now but, they physically dominated Georgia on BOTH sides of the ball. Your record has 3 losses on it just like Florida’s does. 1980 is now 39 years ago. I was in High School then. Most on here weren’t even born but, everyone was for our THREE NC’s recently. I rather be on the side who just CONVINCINGLY WON IT’S BOWL GAME than the team whose lost 2 IN A ROW and whose only reply is talking about a game from 2 MONTHS Ago. For all those great recruits and QB you must have some SHIT coaching to lose 3 game this year.

BINGO. Kirby Smart isn’t a good game day coach and now the UGA fans are starting to see it but don’t want to believe it.

They haven’t won a title in close to 40 years and now all of a sudden they think they are going to win 2 titles in the next 3 years. LOL

Well, fwiw, uga is a 3 loss team, so not that big a difference really. And hey, wasn’t their 2008 pre season national championship team also a 4 loss team?

Georgia has, for a long time, given themselves accolades before earning them.

That's what you do when your trophy case is pretty much empty.

As far as the 5* athletes goes, the NCAA is going to put a stop to that in all due time. They caught Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze, even though it took them literally 5 years to deal with what was pretty much common knowledge going on there. Kirby Smart's PECAN PAYROLL is also no secret in the south whatsoever and it'll only take a couple years or so for the NCAA to get off it's butt and deal with the recruiting shenanigans going on there. It does take balls though to openly have a policy of 100,000$ for 4* players and 200,000 for 5* signees. Poor ol' dumpy needs that though to make up for the fact he doesn't have a clue what he's doing as head coach. Only way it could be worse is if UGLY had UT's idiot clown of a coach.

I wonder if UGA fans are still hyping up that #1 class? The headliner Fields is already gone and they lost one of the top TE recruits in the country in Ford too. And hearing more to come. Class certainly wouldn’t be ranked #1 now if it was re-ranked. It’s a good thing they already have the next few championships locked up and don’t need those players.

Well yeah. I mean I think I’ve been pretty gracious in giving you guys credit for the win this year and for being the better program right now, but I think it’s legit to talk sh*t on your rivals. You know, I was someone who thought you guys were going to get run, and keeping it close would be a huge achievement, so in a way I have to give you some credit for making a game of it, but tbh, I think the fact that you got what seemed like an insurmountable lead and then managed to find a way to lose might look worse in some ways than just getting blown out in terms of how you compare with bama. Talent wise you are in the same ball park, and to come out rolling like that only to have them sort of decide to turn on the light and impose their will... it almost feels like they have this extra gear and can decide to beat you even if they sleepwalk through the first half. Plus I think the way the game ended made it look like Kirby was lost and panicked. The desperation of that 4th down call is what people will remember. I’ll hand Kirby credit for coming in with a great game plan. When the wheels started to come off, though, he looked lost. Granted, when Alabama starts to get determined and build momentum they’re scary for anyone, but I’m not sure that in the eyes of college football fans right now, your loss was better than Oklahoma’s, esp given that you guys cake out flat the other night. I actually think the loss to bama in the title game last year was more impressive. At least you took them to the final snap of regulation, and you can say that for Kirby’s first time in the spotlight they played better than expected.
