UPDATE 12/21 8:30 PM Please read the other thread about the 3500 tickets sent to Florida for complete information about face value ticket prices through Florida. Various prices & seat locations are described. Use that information to help in your search for Cotton Bowl tickets through secondary ticket marketplace websites.

WARNING: DUPLICATE LISTINGS ON STUBHUB WITHIN MANY SECTIONS FOR EXACT SAME TICKETS,
For example, there cannot be 4 groups of 4 on the same row because the seats do not exist,. due to social distancing. My map of blocked seats proves this.

ALSO ON LISTED ON MANY SECONDARY TICKET WEBSITES SIMULTANEOULY.

Please share all the information from the other thread about the 3500 tickets for Florida with others whom you know likely will want to go to the Cotton Bowl. Please also share the helpful information in this thread. Thank you.

Some reading this post may already have knowledge about ticket searching. Some may not be experienced.

This information may contain some new information about which you are unaware. It is posted to help persons to hopefully attend the game & hopefully save costs. Thank you.

After the tips for searching for game tickets are first given, I then give information about the best parking lots closer to the stadium and for best tailgating.

I also give the information about all stadium information and policies. Be sure to plan ahead for gameday.

There seems to be under 2000 actual tickets listed on several secondary ticket marketplace webites. A thorough search was performed. The Cotton Bowl has reduced seating due to social distancing. Most Season Ticket holders attend the game each year regardless of the teams involved, so they don't sell their tickets. Season ticket holders bought their tickets early based upon priority status...how many consecutive years renewed. I've had season tickets for 32 years, so got my tickets.

Florida is the "Visitor" side.
I suggest you start putting your groups together and ASAP start searching the secondary ticket websites to get an idea of groupings, locations, prices.

You can have better luck finding better tickets for groups of six.

There ARE groups of 5 and 7 available, but there are not that many available. If you have a group of 5 or 7, it is suggested that you purchase ASAP.

Get good tickets for clients or superiors connected to your work, this is a great opportunity for PR with them.

Your group will need to agree on location of tickets and price. Remember, thousands of others are likely also looking for tickets.

Some of the ticket websites have an interactive map. Click the section number you want to look at. It will display the groups of tickets and prices. Write the information down about the tickets with the website name. As you visit other websites, you will notice most of the exact same group of tickets (row and number of tickets in an individual group) posted simultaneously on several websites. By writing the information down, you can compare the prices for the same exact tickets. Eventually, you will find the lowest price for that particular group of tickets.

Repeat the process for each group of tickets you want to look at.

Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster is the "Official" Secondary Ticket Marketplace for the Cotton Bowl. Ticketmaster provides the technology to manage all mobile Cotton Bowl tickets. When you visit Ticket Exchange, you will notice that the descriptions for many tickets state "Instant".

What that means is that if you purchase those tickets, the Ticketmaster technology should recognize the sale. Shortly later on, you will receive an email confirming the sale with further instructions about downloading your mobile tickets.
Be sure to also check your Spam folder just in case.

The other benefit of buying Tickets from TicketExchange is that in many cases your overall costs for a particular group of tickets will be less than through other ticket websites. All ticket websites charge a set percent add-on charge to the price of the tickets.
TicketExchange has a 5%-10% less fee compared to all other ticket websites. When considering the costs for tickets, be sure to compare the final costs with the add-on fee.

Ticketmaster provides the technology for all Cotton Bowl tickets. When you purchase mobile tickets for the Cotton Bowl from any ticket website, the seller should send you an email with download instuctions. You will be prompted with steps to follow. Check your spam also. It may take a while to get instructions from the seller.
The instructions will have you set up a Cotton Bowl account using the email address that you used to purchase the tickets and receive the notice about your tickets. Once your Cotton Bowl account is set up, that is where your mobile tickets will be parked for you to manage.

You can Transfer part of the group of mobile tickets from your tickets account to others in your group who will be sitting with you at the game. Instructions will be available. Advise them of the coming transfer you will make to them. They must click"accept" in the email they receive about the transfer.

But you CANNOT split a set group of tickets for resale. The ticket technology will discover that. If you somehow evade the technology, it will be discovered finally at the game when two different unplanned groups of persons show up to sit in the same group. That group will need to be split. If the original seller is part of the group, the original seller will have to leave the stadium. The Cotton Bowl has records of all ticket exchanges. You will be liable to the ticket website through which you sold the tickets and will not only have to pay the entire costs , but a hefty fine, and will be banned from future selling.

I suggest you download the tickets right away that you personally will use and save them to your mobile wallet. You will receive instructions on how to transfer tickets from your account to others in your group who will be sitting with you. The reason to save to your mobile wallet is in case there is no wireless signal at the stadium when you will present your mobile tickets for entrance.

The better lots for parking and tailgating are Blue Lot 10 and Silver Lot 4. They are larger and closer to the stadium. The parking will be reduced for social distancing. Agree with others in your group if more than one vehicle about where to park.Parking passes are lot specific and are also mobile parking passes. Lots 10 and 4 also have the grassy areas where tailgating must occur behind your vehicle. Only tailgating is allowed in lots with grassy areas. You MUST have s mobile parking pass in order to enter the lots.

You can buy mobile parking passes from some ticket websites. Remember to compare costs, including add-on costs. Instructions for downloading will be sent after purchase.

If you bought tickets through a secondary ticket marketplace website it is wise to accept them ASAP from the email you will receive after purchase. Save them in your mobile wallet as there is a time limit in some cases. Do no wait until game day in the event you have problems to address. There may not be wireless access
then also.

Print out a copy of all email correspondance and bring with you to the game, along with ID proving you as the purchaser and Credit Card or Debit Card used for payment. This is extra insurance if you have problems getting into the stadium, which is rare, but could happen. Write down the Section Number, Row, group size of the original purchase. Plan to enter the stadium at least an hour before kickoff in case of problems to be resolved with the Cotton Bowl Ticket management team. Notify others in your group about this. plan for all in your group to arrive at the same time.

One other thing to note, once you have entered the stadium you cannot leave and return. Be sure you have everything with you that you need. Visit the Dallas Cowboys website for stadium rules and policies. From the homepage, click the dropdown menu and click stadium. You can also see "Stadium A-Z" for all policies and information.

Please share all the above information with others in advance whom you know likely will want to go to the Cotton Bowl.

Travel carefully to Arlington, and have a great holidays season with your family and friends.

Thank you
Go Gators!
