New Polls.....Republicans gaining on, and passing Dems in Blue states California & Virginia

First, the idea that there will be a 'Blue Wave' is officially dead. Everyone but the CNN viewers here got the memo.

The Republicans will pick up between 1-8 seats in the Senate.

In the House, there are two ways to look at this:

1 - The Republicans keep control of the House, and get a mandate from the people to go full steam ahead with Trump's agenda.

2 - Dems narrowly win the House, and immediately proceed with impeachment hearings. Of course, there's no reason to impeach Trump ("How do you impeach a President who's doing great?") The only reason the dems want to impeach Trump IS because he's doing great, and the voters will see that, and the dems will get crushed in 2020.


Plus of course there's the matter of impeachment. Even IF the House brings up impeachment and IF it goes to the Senate, the Senate needs a 67-vote majority to impeach Trump. They will be 20-25 votes short.

The most likely scenario is that the dems, getting increasingly more desperate, do something else foolish that just continues to send more voters to the Right side of history.

Try to impeach would be dumb. Just like it was when the Pubs tried to do it to Clinton.

I love it when they claim that Trump's behavior is distasteful. When clinton did far worse IN THE OVAL OFFICE, they claimed he was a 'real man' and 'one of us'!

Slick Willy was impeached for lying under oath to a federal judge. Slick was also disbarred for 5 years by the American Barr association.

Media isn't telling its sheep about the 67 votes part.

In order for impeachment to work, there has to be overwhelming PUBLIC support for it. There's no support at all for impeaching Trump because he hasn't done anything. "How do you impeach someone who's doing great?"

Rs and Independents will correctly see that dems just want to impeach Trump because his policies work.

But all this doesn't matter because the Rs will continue to control both houses of Congress. And the first order of business in the new session will be immediately funding the border wall COMPLETELY and they will use the invading caravan to push it through.

Why doesn't a Dimm give us a clear reason why President Trump should be impeached? They never bother. Making a fool of your champion is not an impeachable offense.
