Do people still watch the NBA? I stopped watching it when Jordan left. It was headed towards the shitter than. Anybody who pays to watch an NBA game is beyond stupid. Same goes for Hollywood. I would eventually love to see them all replaced with some sort of alternative entertainment.

I’m enjoying the fact that they’re trying to shift the cultural narrative and culture is rejecting them. It’s an interesting class between semantics, cultural imaging, and long-term capitalistic goals that so far is not going the NBA’s way. It’s also fascinatingly hypocritical that they are virtue signaling towards social justice While climbing in bed with the most socially injust society in the world outside of possibly North Korea and Iran. And all truly in the name of capitalism. It’s actually quite the cultural campfire wilderness stew

I agree 100%. I’m curious as to when the owners get together and say enough is enough. At some point, the money won’t be there to over pay these entitled cry babies. It will come down to “shut up and play” or allowing China to take huge financial ownership in all teams.

Well in some state that’s already happened. As the revenues dropped in the collective bargaining agreement kicked in and some of these superstars didn’t get as much money as they thought they were going to get last year in early this year a lot of the work signaling is disappearing from the court in the telecast.

What you’ll see are little symbols here aand there in 30 seconds we are together kind of infomercial messages to save face but nothing like they had last year.
