My Prediction:
Billy will start GM on Saturday. Unfortunately, some fans will boo and the unrest will begin. Whether or not GM plays well, we will see DJ within three series and the offense will look different, if the right plays are called. By the end of the A&M game, I believe we will see the team perform better under DJ. Billy will have to play DJ more as the season progresses or he will not only lose the fans but his own locker room. Whether or not we win Saturday will depend on how much DJ plays.
My Hope:
DJ and GM make a nice one two punch throughout the season and the team elevates itself as a result. We win at least six games.
Secondly, we have seen against good competition that we are still lacking in the trenches. With the hope of DJ moving forward more funding will come in for NIL. PLEASE use that to get stud DL and OL recruits. We have plenty of skill players, but three things make championship teams. Top QB, top OL and Top DL. We have one out of three currently.
