From Orangebloods here on the network:
Multiple sources have confirmed to Orangebloods.com that Texas Assistant Athletics Director for Football Operations George Wynn has decided to leave the Longhorn program for the chance to take a similar position at Florida.
Wynn has been an instrumental piece of the puzzle for the Longhorns behind the scenes since the Cleve Bryant leave of absence took place back in October and he was viewed by those inside the program as one of the most important staff members remaining in the program following a 5-7 season that concluded with the departure of five of nine assistant coaches.
Wynn, who joined the Texas program in 2004, is a native of Georgia and has a close relationship with former Longhorn defensive coordinator and current Florida head coach Will Muschamp.
