But some of y'all should cut Dan some slack. He got you to Atlanta in year 3. You put up 47 points on the best team in the nation, you should have pulled off the upset at home by starting AR (which I do fault Dan for).

The Bulls need to force Grantham out, get a real DC who can recruit, and y'all can get back to being a consistent pain in our ass. But without change, y'all know what you have at this point. That and facilities.

There are serious problems with Hevesey and recruiting on the O-line. That was written up a few weeks ago. The most glaring weakness for Florida for many years has been the offensive line. Mullen has a quirky personality (remember the Darth Vader press conference?) and media people always spin things in a way to try to stir up controversy. Can hardly believe anything you see on TV news anymore, even sports news.

Grantham, without his starting Sr MLB, and his 2 Jr CB starters (2021), still held Bama to 31 pts. CB Hill went out for the season in Aug, while Elam went out injured vs Bama.
Elam has also not played in the last 2 games, Tn & UK.
Of course, losing your starting Sr MLB and 2 Jr CB's would be no problem for a good DC.. 🙄

I took away that he shared those stats with the context of penalties. Unfortunately you committed 15 penalties for 115 yards. No one goes penalty free, but the average per team, per game, is around 6. And UK had 4 (hometown cooking). To me penalties are 50/50 players & coaches, both are accountable, and those cost you the game.

2021, UGA is quite satisfied with our Defense. We've given up 1 touchdown in 5 games. And the Def/Special teams has scored 3 TD's. We're good in the DC department.

UK Totaling just 87 total passing yards on 7-for-17 (41.2%) passing, and just 224 yards of total offense while holding them to just 1 of 9 on 3rd and Grantham, the Gators defense held their own and then some throughout the contest, even without both starting Jr CB's (Hill & Elam) and missing their Sr MLB Miller. So despite UK posting a total of 20 points, the Gators' defense was solely responsible for just 7 of those points. The Grantham defense is what kept the Gators in the game. 😤

While Dan and his poor excuse for an offense or a game plan, stunk up the place.... 😒

The LSU and Georgia games might decide Grantham's fate. If they are lost despite us scoring a good amount then he will probably be fired.

As far as the QB situation my guess now would be a change would probably happen after a bad outing against Georgia if we had lost to LSU prior to that and Jones didn't play that well. Not sure Mullen would start him against that Georgia defense though he might make a change if Jones wasn't able to get the offense moving. No telling what happens if we lose to Georgia but beat LSU. I just hope we don't end up losing AR after the season in a scenario like that.

The media def spun this as he was hostile, and he wasn't. The reporters asked fair questions, but the tone of his responses is far different than what was represented. And the one reporter asked where you out-coached and why is the Off sputtering. But I know BS recaps when I read them, followed by watching the actual video.

Look, I ilke a competitive conference. And yes I hate the Gators, as to me they are our biggest rival. F Tech, UTjr and Auburn (3-13 out of last 16). Spurrier through Muschamp owned us. But some of y'all should cut Dan some slack. He got you to Atlanta in year 3. You put up 47 points on the best team in the nation, you should have pulled off the upset at home by starting AR (which I do fault Dan for).

The Bulls need to force Grantham out, get a real DC who can recruit, and y'all can get back to being a consistent pain in our ass. But without change, y'all know what you have at this point. That and facilities.
