It isn't really a surprise that the draftnik community loved Mariota. For them, it's always about the athleticism. The thought process is that you can teach a player how to play football, but you can't teach athleticism. People who compare Jameis to Russell don't understand Jameis' dedication to winning (at least at the college level). Russell was a lazy codeine fanatic. I haven't seen anything in Jameis, to this point, that would indicate that he has either of these traits.
