he has signed #2 class but the elephant in the room comes this week to steal some away, not only from Sully but everyone else. The other sports coaches don't have this elephant in the room to alter recruiting. Fists full of dollars await at least 3 of his prized recruits, maybe more. They are also pecking away at his current roster so he could lose talent on both ends of his plan. Despite all this, he has the Gators packing for a collision in Omaha on June 13 with scUM. Amazing job this season.

Perfect Game has Florida's class ranked 2nd behind Vandy, but we will be lucky to retain many of them after the MLB draft. Kyle Tucker, who was the Florida player of the year and brother of Preston Tucker, is projected to be the 8th pick. He is a 6-4 175 OF who is bigger and more athletic than Preston and broke the school record for home runs. SS Jonathan India is 82nd, OF Daniel Reyes 189, pitcher Jake Woodford, teammate of Tucker at Tampa Plant, 49th, RHP Brady Singer of Leesburg 54th and LHP Thomas Szapucki 91st. It is difficult to retain 5 players who are projected in the first 3 rounds and another in the 6th round. It is highly unlikely that Tucker will join the Gators unless he is a die hard Gator who will turn down millions to play for the Gators. All of the pitchers throw over 90 already. There are still some good recruits left on the board, but we need a couple of these recruits to come to UF to retain a top 5 class.
