Losing by 19 at A&M, is now on a four game losing streak. Meanwhile Florida is headed for another 10 plus win season, a top ten ranking in Dan's second year in this rebuild.

Florida State, and Miami are trash. The future is bright.

I keep hearing about Dan's inability beat top 10 teams in Starkville. Well two years into this rebuild he is 3-2 in such games with a large percentage of Mac's players. The same players that won four games.

I don't think anybody realizes the handicap he was playing with. MSU is a below 500 program in it's history. Saban wasn't winning B1G titles at Michigan State, and they are a better program in a worse conference than what Mississippi State is.

Mississippi State fans deify Jackie Sherrill, as though he was on of their own, even though he wasn’t. It had as much to do with him being a redneck

Sherrill fell apart his last three seasons, going 8-27

He did pretty good his first ten, although short of Mullen, who was phenomenal there all things considered

Sherrill year by year then Mullen

I have mentioned previously that State is UK's permanent cross-divisional opponent, and we UK fans saw what Mullen could do there. Count me among those who have a high regard for him.

We crapped the bed and lost to them a few weeks ago, but the OP is right in saying that they are already trending down. Put it this way - the league office paired UK and State together for a reason.

I'm just glad we (unexpectedly) broke the streak monkey last year.

I was the idiot Gator fan who was excitedover Chip Kelly negotiations. Glad he loves the west coast. Tennessee would be in a much better spot if I got what I wanted.
