FDA needs overhaul. If europe, canada and other first world countries have a drug OTC then I see no reason we dont have that here too.

Looks like RCP just wanted some click bait as usual. When Trump touted his "miracle cure" they passed an emerg. order limiting HCQ to prescriptions for APPROVED use ie arthritis and to only 30 day prescription.

Call it spin if you like, you're the expert on it. Since the thread title said doctors of Minn. due to the "reversing course" were able to prescribe HCQ , and that was incorrect.... it was all spin. Minn. doctors were always able to prescribe HCQ, just not more than 30 days or for non-authorized use ( covid). The Gov. explanation that HCQ was ineffective and no longer in high demand ( after Trump's miracle was debunked) was telling... yes it was. All that order did was put things back to pre-covid.

So your claim is that HCQ prescriptions were banned? They were not banned in fact people in Minn. had there scripts for their HCQ even more secured by the Gov. order. New prescriptions for non-authorized use was what was banned. The Gov. insured that after Trump announced his miracle cure, that people that took HCQ for it's intended use would still have it.
