Franks might be a little 'slow' in the noggin, so not sure if he can be coached up to play decent QB, no matter how strong his arm or how much heart he has. I mean he didn't have the sense to throw the ball out of bounds a few weeks ago when he jogged out 8 yards behind the line of scrimmage. That's peewee level right there. I doubt he'd be able to get up to speed on Air Raid concepts if that's where his football IQ is.

Did ya'll see Ohio State's redshirt freshman QB (just like Franks is) take over when J.T. Barrett got hurt? He led them to a come from behind victory and looked great. There is ZERO player development under this coaching staff and the play calling under Nussmeier continues to be horrible.
