tOSU currently 5-0; with Michigan game cancelled, how many games will tOSU actually play this year ? Only 1 more playing date listed in B1G conference schedule - Dec 19th.

Is tOSU out of the B1G title game & CFP or will the B1G find a way to sneak tOSU in the back door ?

The cancellation of this game puts Ohio State at five total games played this season, which is under the threshold put forth by the Big Ten conference to compete in the conference championship game against Northwestern.

If OSU gets in with 5 games, we should get to pick a couple games we would like to discount off our schedule...sadgator votes for A&M...

seriously...sadgator’s sincerely glad we got some games to watch...but this season is a joke...maybe it’s best to just take the regular season, appreciate it for what it is/was and call it a day....

OSU is the Texas of the big 10.

Or as we say in the South - The Alabama of the SEC !

The executives don’t have the stones to leave them out of the big 10 championship.
Of course NOT !

Too much money & prestige; & recruiting would suffer !

Nick,

From GT- regarding this week's CFP Poll where UF remains at #6 -

"...The next poll and the final poll could look a lot different. For starters, Ohio State’s game with Michigan this weekend was canceled, meaning, under the Big Ten’s own rules, the Buckeyes are ineligible to play in the Big Ten Championship game because they have not played six games.

The league commissioner, Kevin Warren, released a statement saying they need to “remain fluid and remain nimble during these times" The fix is in !

TRANSLATION - Lie, Cheat, & Steal anyway you can to make it happen !

As it stands, Ohio State is the Big Ten’s only potential Playoff team and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the league amend its rules to allow Ohio State to play in the Championship game.

Like NASCAR - "If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying !"

However, if that doesn’t happen it would open the door for another team, perhaps Florida, to get into the playoff.

You’re translation is spot on.

Two loss UF won't get in no matter what happens with OSU.

One loss UF gets in regardless of what happens with OSU.
