Lifetime Bragg is 2-0 versus trump and this prosecution is only another chapter

He told those who were listening of that fact after the successful prosecution of the trump org case & CFO Weisselburg

After Leticia James finishes the civil prosecution of fraud and shuts down the trump org from doing business in NY

Bragg will take trump's testimony in that case...and Weisselberg to criminally prosecute trump for financial crimes

The idiots that are screaming this case isn't "big" enough to indict a president are too stupid to realize each case is building upon the previous successful prosecution

Follow along...there are going to be at least a couple of more chapters LOL 🤣

In Bragg v. Jordan, a familiar legal strategy emerges
A top aide to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has a history of fighting House GOP subpoenas.

NEW YORK – Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s new lawsuit against Rep. Jim Jordan is an aggressive counterpunch for a first-term elected prosecutor who is typically averse to politics. But it’s not the first time that Bragg, a Democrat, has fought House Republicans.

He’s dusting off a legal strategy devised seven years ago by one of his top lieutenants when they both worked in the New York attorney general’s office. That strategy — defying federal subpoenas by invoking state sovereignty — shows a prosecutor intent on defending the independence of local investigations from congressional oversight. And by suing Jordan and his House Judiciary Committee directly, Bragg has escalated his public confrontation with the House GOP over the investigation and indictment of former President Donald Trump.

The lawsuit echoes legal arguments advanced in 2016 and 2017 in another subpoena fight on a hot-button issue. At the time, New York’s attorney general, Democrat Eric Schneiderman, was investigating whether Exxon Mobil misled investors about the risks of climate change. A GOP-controlled House panel accused Schneiderman of having a political agenda and served subpoenas seeking documents from the probe. Bragg was a senior official in Schneiderman’s office, as was Leslie Dubeck, who was then counsel to the attorney general and is now Bragg’s general counsel.

Maybe Jordan should hold a field hearing in Ohio?

THIS from Pomerantz's resignation letter to Bragg...

The following is the full text of the resignation letter by Mark Pomerantz, who had investigated former President Donald J. Trump, but left after the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, halted an effort to seek an indictment.

Dear Alvin,

I write to tender my resignation as a Special Assistant District Attorney and to explain my reasons for resigning.

As you know from our recent conversations and presentations, I believe that Donald Trump is guilty of numerous felony violations of the Penal Law in connection with the preparation and use of his annual Statements of Financial Condition. His financial statements were false, and he has a long history of fabricating information relating to his personal finances and lying about his assets to banks, the national media, counterparties, and many others, including the American people. The team that has been investigating Mr. Trump harbors no doubt about whether he committed crimes — he did.

Are you really sure you want to depose THIS guy?

Pomerantz says he "hopes the hush money case is brought. The evidence is there."

What's the point? See Ari Melber's interview of NY prosecutor Mark Pomeranz recounting Trump case

That's probably not the best example you could have used.

Why not?

The special master decision was shot down by the DC Court of Appeals...

The trump judge was admonished by the entire judicial world, trump lost the special master, the DOJ won that legal challenge, trump's lawyer has been recused from the case and is facing disbarment, and trump had to pay all the costs of the special master decision

If that ends up being the result of this clown attempt to obstruct justice... 🤣

All that is true.

But unless I missed something, nothing came of that case and most of the board believes that case was an example of a bullshit prosecution.

Like they view this one.

So not the best example.

That's because people are stupid and partisan

Have you heard Jack Smith has called it quits?

Here's today's update on the bullshit prosecution

trump's lawyer was just kicked off of the legal team representing trump in the federal investigations because he's a target.

And I doubt he'll be working on the Bragg case either...he's got his own legal problems to deal with now

Bragg wins this round...His prosecutors will block Jordan from doing discovery for donald trump's defense team

That's what this really is all about...the weaponization of Congress by the GOP to defend trump

They LOVE actually doing what they accuse others of...

Jim Jordan Has Been Frustrated in His Attempts to Frustrate Alvin Bragg
His newest gambit, calling former assistant Manhattan D.A. Mark Pomerantz to testify in Congress, is tied up in the courts.

Bragg Agrees to Let Ex-Prosecutor Testify About Trump Case in Congress
Alvin L. Bragg, Manhattan’s district attorney, sued Representative Jim Jordan to stop him from questioning a former investigator about his criminal investigation of Donald J. Trump.

A spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office said in a statement that the resolution would allow the office’s general counsel, Leslie Dubeck, to be present for the questioning of Mr. Pomerantz. A lawyer for Mr. Pomerantz is also expected to be present, and Mr. Pomerantz may decline to answer questions that he is not authorized to discuss. Congressional Republicans may contest his right to remain silent in future proceedings.

So it’s a jumbo shrimp? This is a trumptard argument.

Because the Heritage Foundation started 2 lawsuits? 🤣

Newsflash...no one is getting documents on an active investigation & prosecution

But good luck with that FOIA request... 🤣
Ah so you DO understand why Trump isn't talking to you about the Halderman Report? LOL

Ah so you DO understand why Trump isn't talking to you about the Halderman Report? LOL

What does any of that have to do with trump & the Halderman report? 🤣

The 2 Heritage lawsuits are about Bragg's investigation that has NOTHING to do with voting machines which is what the Halderman report is about

malone supports a Stacey Abrams funded document about the 2020 election 😲

You can't make this up people 🤣

Alvin Bragg is the enemy of the people

The Soros prosecutors are Marxist revolutionaries using the criminal justice system to defend criminals and prosecute those who defend themselves. They seek to create a weak and pacified public. Daniel Penny is as an American hero who came to the defense of his fellow citizens, INCLUDING black citizens on that subway. Alvin Bragg is the enemy of the people. A sleazy revolutionary. If Bragg ever faces the same kind of threat as common citizens, hopefully no one will come to his defense. After all, prosecutor Bragg wouldn't tolerate a self-defense defense.

A federal judge on Tuesday was unswayed by former President Donald Trump's request to move his hush-money case from a New York state court to federal court, leaving the case before the same judge who sentenced the Trump Organization for tax fraud earlier this year.

After a three-hour hearing that yielded poor results for Trump's team, U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein indicated that he would rule against the former president in the days to come. According to The Daily Beast, Trump's lawyer, Todd Blanche, failed to prove that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's case prompts legal concerns that are better addressed in federal court such as "matters relating to whether a president can be sued for conduct relating to his official duties or committing federal crimes, as opposed to local ones."

The judge, instead, countered that all of Trump's alleged crimes revolve around his personal affairs.

"There's no relation to any act of the president," Hellerstein said, calling Trump's relationship with lawyer Michael Cohen, who illegally paid off an adult film star, a "private hiring."
