So why were 5,692 injury and poisoning deaths, 8,034 malignant neoplasm deaths and 6159 Alzheimer deaths included on the coronavirus death list?
The CDC doesn’t say. I bet this is the tip of the iceberg.

Death certificates list the primary cause of death as covid-19 then list other conditions the deceased had at time of death, ie Alzheimer's. CDC data shows of the 193K covid deaths, 6159 also had Alzheimer's when they died. Last year there were over 120,000 Alzheimer's deaths making that condition one of the top 10 killers in the US.
