Notice what's happened in the last week or so in the media. The media has suddenly started spinning that Trump is only focused on the invading caravan, and is ignoring the great economy.
This is, of course, a complete lie. Trump ALWAYS talks the economy. At every rally, he hasn't changed a bit. Rush played a montage of media, esp CNN and MSNBC (but Fox is doing it too) claiming that the economy is incredible, why won't Trump talk about it?!?
But the setup is obvious: Media is claiming now that Trump made a conscious decision to stop talking about the economy, and start focusing on the invading caravan.
If Dems win the House, media will now spin that Dems winning the House was voters SENDING TRUMP A MESSAGE that they don't like his HATEFUL talk on the 'migrant caravan'.
Media wants Trump to DROP talking about the invading caravan because they can see it is a WINNING MESSAGE FOR HIM.
When Red Wave happens, CNN and MSNBC will spin "well I guess Trump's supporters sent a message that they want Trump's hateful version of America", and that will kick off their talking points for 2020 and why Trump has to be voted out.
