McGriff to Florida!

BOOM! So how is that for a NSD?

I'm loving this coaching staff

I don't think this guy is your answer at QB, but he is big and strong and really fast. He played different positions in high school, which I assume is the reason he isn't ranked higher by the recruiting services.

I really haven't seen anywhere where anybody has been touting him as a QB. Not even Coach Mc. This is a Jordan Reed type player. Not saying he will be a TE...he will be successful wherever we put him.

QB?? What? Who said anything about him being a QB? He's an H-back. I expect him to catch some passes. His athleticism for his size and his good hands reminds me of Aaron Hernandez, hopefully without the obvious off the field issues.

Paco, no lie, I know his family well. He is a good kid but he has two uncles in prison and both are there for murder and both are on his dads side of the family. Congrats on getting a very good player.

What you mean is what position he will be playing in juco. He will not qualify for next year at Florida.

While it certainly doesn't bode well that Auburn might have actually turned him away due to academics the UF Admission's Office works hand and hand with the athletic teams and recruiting. Normally they will not even let a kid visit if there is no chance of them getting in academically.

What is the issue? Just short a class. Whatever it is he should be able to take care of it with some effort by graduation time you would think.

UF admission office does a fantastic job of avoiding academic casualties. I can only remember a handful of our signees over the years who had to attend prep school or JUCO. Reggie Nelson and Dallas Baker are two that standout. I'm sure there are more but not too many.

i dont know what happened between this kid and auburn, but he handled his recruitment well as far as i know and seems like a good kid

His coach was a UF homer and blocked his fax machine. Lol just ribbing you from that nonsense you posted yesterday.

This does concern me. I mean when AUBURN can't get a FOOTBALL PLAYER into school, just, damn.
