"As far as the quarterbacks went, both had their opportunities with the ones and the twos. I thought Treon probably moved the people with the twos a little better, better than Will did. Josh got an opportunity in there during overtime and drove the team down a couple times, wasn't able to finish but did some good things there. Then I thought Will really got off to a fast start. You know, we can't have drops. We've talked about that, very first play of the scrimmage what happens? Hits a guy in the hands, guy drops it. It's a never-ending issue. And really as open as he was, that was like routes on air. Those are things that we've just continually got to work on. As I told our guys, we've got a really good defense. Guys, there's some offensive pieces here, especially with some of these young guys. And yet we've got to get over the hump from the psychological standpoint. It's OK to care. It's OK to compete. It's OK to get out there and just let it all happen. That's where we've got to get offensively a little bit."
On if there's any separation at quarterback...
“I think the cliche thing is to look at the tape. You know how we talked early in the year about how you affect the people around you, how they elevate their play. I think I answered that with the first question there, the first time I commented about it. That holds true and yet each guy kind of had a, ‘What the. ‘ kind of moment like, you know what I’m getting at. Some of those that are just kind of critical. You don’t just throw it. You know what I’m getting at? That’s not how you play the game. To our defense’s credit they took advantage of it and returned one for a touchdown. Those things play into position that you just can’t have happen.”
