Fisher's extremely large buy-out is only applicable if he is fired. If he leaves for another job, the buy-out is single digits...easily affordable by a school like TAMU.

Yep, the buyout if he was to leave - his choice - is tied to paying off the assistant coaches, based on the assumption that his replacement would want to bring in his own staff. I believe it includes clauses that decrease it for any of the staff the new coach keeps.
