Well, we’re done. Had every chance at the end to make something happen but, kind of par for the course this year.
And so here we go.
Probably the craziest first weekend of the tournament I ever remember.
A bunch of blow outs, and bunch of close games you wouldn’t expect, and a lot of upsets.
Number 1 overall Virginia loses to a 16.
The long time “best all around team” in Michigan State loses at the end to Syracuse.
A lot of brackets are screwed. All of my basketball guru friends (including two that played college ball and are coaches now) picked Michigan State to win it all, and they didn’t even make it out of the opening weekend.
Danny is sitting here watching NASCAR at Fontana, enjoying nice weather before deadly tornado weather hits north Alabama, because despite his butchered bracket, North Carolina and Kansas are still in it (so my finals pairing is alive).
Who do you guys have going to the finals? How do your brackets look?
